Overview
ChipTOUCH is a control system specifically developed for the drying of wood chips and other biomass materials which are usually dried by hot air insufflation.
The system controls the air temperature and insufflation pressure into one or more drying containers, by activating the heating valve and the ventilators in proportional mode.
The moisture of the air exiting from every container is continuously analyzed in order to detect the completion of the drying cycle; the final moisture target can be individually set for every container.
The system can also measure the energy consumption of the plant and, if connected to a supervisory PC, it can produce graphic reports of the drying cycles for each container.
Main functions
ChipTOUCH is extremely configurable and can be completed with additional functions on demand, to fit all the kilns models. The following list summarizes the standard features of the basic version.
